In a nutshell:
- Exercise regularly - find something
you can do - we can all find excuses, better
to find out what we can do.
- Eat well & drink appropriately -
This might mean getting used to foods you're
not used to - our dietitians can help.
- Getting the treatment/tablets right -
speak openly to pharmacists and doctors about
how you get on with these, know what you're
taking and always have an up to date list
(with dosage) when you meet docs - they need
to know what you're taking to do their job.
- Understand what is going on - take
control back - use the resources available and ask for
help if you need it. We want you to do well.

Maybe when you start
treatment you are not ready to take all this information
in, but we are with you for life and always here to
help. So if ever you feel ready to find out more and
take back more control, it is never too late.
